After having worked on positioning the brand in a series of workshops with the house’s directorial team, an elaborate Corporate Design is now ready for application.
Drawing inspiration from the city of Augsburg’s rich and oblong history, we summon signs and traces. So it goes that the municipal coat Roman symbol of the Zirbelnuss becomes a pineapple. Moreover the combination of a deep velvety green with a glaring pink provides a balancing act between tradition and future. Corinthian column heads in the 240-year-old venue bear traces that lead us to a current logo.
Just as the theatre’s curatorial alignment provides surprises and unconventional ideas, we mirror a richness of contrast through typography and color scheme.
