In its artistic program ZKR Centre for Art and Urban Space at Biesdorf Castle explores the many-layered interplay of art, architecture and urban space. Thereby art and architecture are translated to urban as well as landscape contexts. By presenting international contemporary pieces next to works from GDR, changing exhibitions open surprising connections in artistic positions of yesterday and today.
For this context we developed a canon of logo, typography and visual imagery. By omitting the “O” from the logo we make room for creativity and fit ZKR in with their carrier company Grün Berlin GmbH’s brand architecture.
To leave room for art to shine, correspondences, including business cards, are kept reduced and discreet.
An agile and responsive WordPress-based website provides the ZKR hub of communication.
