In 2017, we helped the academy flesh out basic ideas for a digital strategy. The main results were: more focus on users and networks and less on print materials, as well as relief for overworked staff. Next, we did a complete overhaul of the website to make it the focal point of communication. Now live and online, the new website offers clearly structured content, showcases the academy’s areas of expertise and features a shop (linked to the academy’s administrative software) where users can book seminars directly. Implementation in TYPO3, including the development interface, was handled by Die NetzWerkstatt.
