International artists house

“Arnim’s house is spacious (…) but inside it is quite dilapidated,” wrote Wilhelm Grimm in 1816 about the manor house of the poet couple Bettina and Achim von Arnim. Today, the Kulturstiftung Schloss Wiepersdorf runs an international artists house there for scholarship holders from all over the world. This also includes a museum that we have concepted, curated and designed.

Anthropocene Monument

Over the past centuries, humans have disconnected from the universe that once provided the source of their existence. Rather than simply watch the Earth suffocate under the weight of our refuse, the Indonesian Upcycle Forum and the Goethe-Institut Indonesien created a visionary space for reconnection. The Monumen Antroposen (Anthropocene Monument) in Yogyakarta is an architectural, social and creative blueprint. An upcycling factory, sociocultural center and makerspace will be created on a giant landfill. We created a new brand and corporate design in digital co-creation workshops with the project partners.

Visual Exchange

The Goethe-Institut Indonesia promotes the exchange of language and culture between Germany and a large number of countries in Southeast Asia. Since 2021, we have been designing visual identities for projects in the fields of film, art, literature, sustainability, media and technology.

The Berlin Project Fund for Arts Education promotes cultural projects by and with young people. It is overseen by the Foundation for Cultural Education and Cultural Consulting, which is affiliated with the Berlin Senate. Shaping culture is a long-term project, with plenty of hurdles along the way – can’t we find an easier way to fund innovative projects?

The Museum of Utopia and Daily Life is made up of two complementary collections in two different locations: the Documentation Centre of Everyday Culture of the GDR in Eisenhüttenstadt and the Beeskow Art Archive in Beeskow.

Allesandersplatz

In 2019 the former East German bureau of statistics, on Berlin’s Alexanderplatz, became the venue for STATISTA, an exploration of artistic prototypes for a new civil society. While temporary takeovers of vacant urban space often leave nothing but gentrification in their wake, the projects under the STATISTA umbrella aimed to leave a lasting legacy of urban renewal for the benefit of all – a statecraft of the future.
